How far along: Today I'm 27w3d! This post will cover weeks 25, 26, and 27. Hopefully I'll get better at this in the next couple weeks! Baby was the size of a cauliflower in week 25, a head of lettuce in week 26, and a rutabaga (what is that?!?!) this week.
Physical symptoms: I can feel 2nd trimester winding down. Over the last week I've been more tired again in the afternoons. I can easily take a 2 hour nap and still go to bed by 9:30. Dang I miss that energy already! Heartburn and indigestion has really picked up, too. Apparently that means baby has hair??? Wouldn't be surprised considering his parents...
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I was up 3 pounds between my 20w and 24w appointments. This puts me down 2 from my first OB appointment. Haven't weighed myself since 24w, but I'm sure I'll get an update at my appointment on Wednesday.
Maternity clothes: Obviously in all maternity clothes. Still loving my dresses!
Sleep: My hips are hurting a lot and the heartburn is wicked at night. Doing ok though.
Best moment last week: I passed my glucose test! Little guy is moving all over the place all day (and night!) long. You can see and feel it from the outside on a regular basis. He's not hanging out on my bladder as much, so he must have flipped around in there. I also made some wall art for the nursery. I think they turned out pretty good! Oh and B is for....BLAKE! That's right, our baby has a name. Blake Donald Schwindenhammer. WOOHOO!
Movement: Holy movement! Most days I can see and feel my stomach move on the regular. He did have a quiet day last week that freaked me out a bit, but he snapped out of it the next day.
Cravings: Pretty much the same things...fruit, juice, milk.
Gender: IT'S A BOY!!!!
Labor signs: Um, I would hope none!
Belly button: Normal. Yes I just touched it to see.
What I miss: Nothing really.
What I am looking forward to: Shower on March 1!
Milestones: Passed glucose test, feeling and seeing lots of movement, baby has a NAME!
