OMG OMG OMG SQUEEEEE!! I have a bean! RE said everything is perfect. Measuring 6 weeks, 6 days exactly. Not only did we see the heart beating away at 128 bpm, but we heard it too. The picture on the bottom shows the heart beat pattern. I am in awe. We both cried. RE said the sac looks perfect with no signs of bleeding. He said at this point the miscarriage rate is less than 2%. It still seems kind of early for that low of a percentage, but I'll take it with no complaints! I go back on 10/4 for another ultrasound and my second round of intralipids. As long as all is well, I will graduate from the RE that day and move on to my OB.

ReplyDeleteHey, J, in ref to Gonz' prediction, did your RE say which side the placenta was on?!?!? The placenta study is pretty accurate for gender prediction. ;).

No! He didn't say. Is that something I can find out next time? I've never heard of the placenta study. ::runs off to google::
